HIGHLIGHTS

GIRLS Indiv.: US#10 Mishawaka soph Anna Rohrer pulled away late and topped US#5 Ashley Erba with a super 17:13.2, ahead of defending champ Erba’s 17:29.2. West Lafayette sr Bobbie Burgess was 3rd in 17:51.6.

BOYS Indiv.: Barr Reeves sr Connor Sorrells, ranked nationally in the preseason but with some early losses before getting hot, kicked to victory in 15:21.3. He was reportedly followed by Fort Wayne Concordia jr Zach Panning (15:26.5), Hamilton SE sr Troy Reeder (15:28.8), and Terre Haute South jr Jackson Bertoli (15:34.2).

GIRLS Teams: US#1 Carmel girls (Marc Bloom’s Super 25) have triumphed with 66 pts, followed by US#20/MW#4 West Lafayette (147), MW#10 Columbus North (158), and Franklin Central(160).

BOYS Teams: MW#6 Carmel (previously US-ranked) completes the sweep with 93 points, followed by MW#9 Fort Wayne Carroll 116, Valparaiso 149, and Warsaw 157. US#25/MW#4 Hamilton Southeastern, which beat Carmel at Semi-States, was 5th with 182. MW#5 Westfield was 7th.
